School visits - bringing the curriculum alive
Lesnes Abbey Woods provides an amazing learning experience that can assist teachers in bringing the curriculum to life with our outdoor resources and classrooms.

Our education team, North West Kent Countryside Partnership, have devised a range of half- and full-day, tutor led workshop programmes, for up to two groups of 30 children, to support Key Stages 1 – 2 learning in Science, History, Geography, Habitats, Rocks and Soils. Bespoke programmes of activity covering other curriculum areas can also be devised for Key Stages 1 – 4.
North West Kent Countryside Partnership is a local non-profit organisation, dedicated to connecting people with their local green spaces and improving the environment for nature. NWKCP Is hosted by Kent County Council and based at Hall Place in Bexley. NWKCP has been working in partnership with the Lesnes team for many years now, running a wide variety of community engagement events and school visits to help local children and families to discover the wonders of Lesnes Abbey.
